Questions we hear often.
What happens if a customer misses a payment?+
The payment is marked as missed, and the loan officer is notified on their next route. Admins can see missed payments in real time across all loans, and decide whether to reschedule, mark the loan as defaulted, or apply a partial balance to the next collection.
Can one customer have multiple loans?+
Not simultaneously. A customer can only take a new loan once their current one is fully paid off. This keeps the portfolio clean and reduces risk. Completed loans remain on the customer's history for future reference.
Is my data isolated from other companies?+
Absolutely. Bonfi is multi-tenant by design. Your customers, loans, and users are completely walled off from every other account on the platform. A user from another company will never see your data — it's not possible.
What payment frequencies are supported?+
Daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly. The schedule is generated automatically when the loan is created so you and your officers know exactly when each installment is due — for the full life of the loan.
Can I add or remove users later?+
Yes. Your admins can add loan officers or other admins anytime from the dashboard. Billing adjusts automatically on the next cycle based on the number of active users.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Yes, always. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings and you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your data stays available for export for 90 days afterward — just in case you change your mind.
